Privacy

Short, because there isn't much to say.

What we store

• Your list. The keys, codes, links or spot names you paste. They are shown to the people who claim them and to nobody else.
• Claims. The email address each person types, as typed, and the time. We don't verify addresses and we don't send mail to them.
• Counts. How many drops, items and claims per day, with no names in them.

Who can see what

• Whoever holds the results key for a drop can see every claim in it, including the email addresses, and download them.
• Each claimant sees only their own item.
• Nobody else sees addresses. The public record of a drop shows claim counts and one-way hashes only.

What we don't do

• No analytics scripts, no advertising, no tracking cookies. The pages set no cookies at all.
• We don't sell or share lists or addresses with anyone.

Where it lives

Data is stored and served by Cloudflare's edge platform, in the region closest to the person who made the drop. Payments, when you make one, are taken by Stripe; we never see card details.

Deleting a drop

Email hello@scarcedrops.com with the claim link. We delete the drop, its list and its claims within seven days, and tell you when it's done. Counts stay, because they contain nothing personal.

Children

This service is for adults handing things out to adults. Don't make a drop aimed at children.
